The name SpoonyAcedia is the result you get from a whole lot of time spent on sites such as wordhippo. When trying to name this blog I didn’t want the name to be a one way street e.g. something-something-fashion or something-something-celeb-gossip, and I wanted to make it clear that this blog was not to be taken too seriously – hereby preventing readers to expect thoroughly written posts or even new posts every day. The word Spoony can be translated as silly and Acedia is to be sloth/lazy.
